One of my favourite things about crafting is taking a ball of yarn and turning it into something. Preferably something that is either useful, looks fab or, best yet, is both. I haven’t ventured into designing my own stuff yet but I love making things that other people have put thought and effort into designing. I get genuinely excited watching it emerge. So here’s a wee post dedicated to that process, with some photos of a couple of my projects. And that’s my daughter actually wearing one of my knitted items (see previous post, Is there anything more annoying than an unused handmade gift? for an explanation) = result!
What a cute little vest! And a gorgeous bubba too! I too love the idea that you can turn something as simple as yarn into something gorgeous, useful and wearable. Knitting is very clever!

I agree! Wearable was the word I was searching for – thanks! The pattern is from a book called Lullaby Knits by Vibe Ulrik Sondergaard x
