‘The Jumper’ continued…

After doing relatively little on the cable jumper over my holiday, I have been on a bit of a roll and have managed to complete the back (pic below). This is due in no small part to the fact my son is now regularly napping. Every day! So whilst I should be doing some housework, I am more likely to be found on the couch knitting away. Not great for the state of my house but great for my progress. Well, you can’t have everything I suppose.

I am currently working away on the front but had a quick look at the instructions for the arms and I am a bit stumped. So I am hoping someone can help me. Instructions are as follows:

There are four rows following the rib. Then it says “1st to 4th rows set position of patt as given for Back” – I take it this just means rows 1 to 4 form the pattern?

“Cont in pattern as now set, inc 1 st at each end of next and every foll 4th row to 67 sts, then on every foll 6th row until there are 93 sts, taking next 15 sts into diamond cable pattern and then rem sts into rev st st.” Eh?! I understand the first part of this sentence. I am completely and utterly bamboozled by the end of the sentence starting from “taking”. Any thoughts?

“Cont without shaping until Sleeve measures 50cm, ending with a ws row”. I’m all good with this sentence!

So I would very much appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on what that second sentence means.
